With a passion for providing exceptional customer service and enriching lifestyles for seniors, Fralin and Waldron created RUI in 1982—a senior living experience defined by our diverse programming, lifestyles, and comfortable, elegant settings.
Now, in its third generation of leadership, RUI continues its mission to deliver lifestyles our residents have earned and deserve, keeping the values and traditions set forth by Mr. Fralin and Mr. Waldron’s vision.

Meet
William Fralin
CEO of Retirement Unlimited, Incorporated
William H. Fralin serves as the CEO of Retirement Unlimited, Incorporated, a role he has excelled in since 2012. As the nephew of one of the company’s founders, Horace Fralin, he plays a crucial role in shaping the legacy of RUI.
With over 20 years of demonstrated healthcare and public service leadership, Mr. Fralin showcases a deep passion for serving others. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond, emphasizing the importance of education and continuous growth.
From 2004 to 2010, he represented Virginia’s 17th District in the House of Delegates, successfully advocating for over 60 bills to enhance school safety, combat domestic violence, redevelop inner cities, and more. Currently, he sits on the GO Virginia Foundation, Verge, and the Virginia Museum of History and Culture boards.
As an active member of the Virginia Business Council, Mr. Fralin has dedicated 20 years to Medical Facilities of America, Inc., where he held the title of President and CEO.

It is really a lovely facility with beautiful decor, a number of amenities as well as programs, designed to enrich the lives of their senior residents. We were also very impressed by the director of sales and community relations for her professional attitude and work ethics.
